Mr. Janssen Chan
Managing Director
Janssen has been specializing in Hong Kong tax and China tax since the 90s. He has extensive experience and knowledge in providing tax and business advisory services to MNCs in various business sectors.
He is experienced in providing corporate & individual income tax related compliance and advisory as well as global mobility tax services, in particular, tax due diligence/health check review, cross-border (Hong Kong and China) tax planning and advisory, IPO related tax advisory, design/review on the TEQ/TP policies for international assignments, tax efficiency review on the remuneration package for expatriates and to manage its associated tax risks, international tax issues and assisting clients in setting up legal entities in China.
Prior to founding Anssen Consulting, he worked for PwC, KPMG, Deloitte and other international firms. Through his work experience, Janssen has maintained good business relationships with various tax bureaus in China and has successfully obtained numerous advanced tax rulings for his clients. He is also well-versed in achieving various successful outcomes in dealing with the China tax officials on tax audit and investigation cases for his clients over the years.
Janssen is a regular speaker at seminars and workshops on tax matters in Hong Kong, China and overseas. He has also been interviewed by various media in Hong Kong and China from time to time.
